Yeah! I had it on whilst doing other things, so need to give it a full listen, but he can probably create more soundbytes in one sitting than most bands/artists manage in their career.AppTrans wrote:Probably one of the best interviews ever!

Re: John Maus interview
I disagree with that bit about record shops. I personally consider a record store to be a place of refuge. I associate the prospect of finding something cool at a record store with good times. Why pay mind to anyone who's observing the selection you've made? Anyway, I like to support good artists... I paid for all of your albums! And if you're going to stick to that philosophy, don't give us the option to pay for your music.

Yeah, some weird stuff on that interview.... this bit is true:
A few years back when he played in Blackpool, England, I had to force him to take money for CD's.I've never been able to wrap my head around selling merch. I haven't been able to shake this feeling, as if I should be paying folks to take my CD or my T-shirt.

I don't get Odd Future at all. Their music's mostly pretty dull and they come off like snotty bratspluckypurcell wrote:odd future, that's....odd i guess.

The reaction to the Pitchfork Guestlist thing is ridiculous.
