Yeah! I had it on whilst doing other things, so need to give it a full listen, but he can probably create more soundbytes in one sitting than most bands/artists manage in their career.

I disagree with that bit about record shops. I personally consider a record store to be a place of refuge. I associate the prospect of finding something cool at a record store with good times. Why pay mind to anyone who's observing the selection you've made? Anyway, I like to support good artists... I paid for all of your albums! And if you're going to stick to that philosophy, don't give us the option to pay for your music. :arms:

Yeah, some weird stuff on that interview.... this bit is true:
I've never been able to wrap my head around selling merch. I haven't been able to shake this feeling, as if I should be paying folks to take my CD or my T-shirt.
A few years back when he played in Blackpool, England, I had to force him to take money for CD's.

i had a similar experience this year with all 3 LPs in boston
