Hey all, not sure if everyone was aware, but it seems as if Mr. John Maus is back on Twitter!
http://twitter.com/#!/JOHNMAUS
He posted a particularly apt Gilles Deleuze quote today, at least, it seemed to fit in along with the kinda day I was having... : )
It also seems he has figured out how to get around the Twitter character-limit! Hooray! I'm enjoying the quotes very much, along with anything else he wants to say.
John Maus back on Twitter!

Re: his most recent Twitter post... er.... "tweet" (blar):
John Maus making sounds/songs for film makes absolute, total sense to me. I hope someone takes him up on it, for real. My question would be: what kind of film/what genre? Does it matter?

Good call, AppTrans....
Did anyone see that "Beyond The Black Rainbow" movie? Some sorta new sci-fi flick that's set in 1983 and is sorta REALLY derivative of a million different other suspenseful sci-fi flicks? Despite it being sorta tedious, the movie had kind of a killer soundtrack. Neato, anthemic synth-based stuff, really creeeepy ambient, menacing tones and a really raucous prog moment that I wish there had been way more of.
