MadamAnt, these photos are great! Good job. Are you a press photographer? You were so close!
And yes, if you have video, please post! And yeah, it's kind of amazing how many more live photos there have been that are not reflected here, but I guess there is that tumblr page. Does anyone here happen to run that?
Not a press photographer, just a really excited fan clinging onto the barrier in front of the press pit!
I have uploaded the videos to my Facebook page, each one took about 10 minutes, I suppose I should put them on Youtube or something!
For now though, let me know if you can see these, I've changed the privacy settings to make them publicly viewable:
AMAZING Fantastic photos, Ricky. Thank you for posting! What show was this? I would love to meet him at The Scala (counting down to single digits now!), but not sure how likely he is to be meeting fans when its such a big record label party event.
Thanks! This was at the Casbah in San Diego on July 14th. He stuck around after the show for a good 20-30 minutes, just chatting with people and taking pictures with anyone who wanted one.
Some great action shots there with impressive b&w clarity, thanks for posting! Wish I could have met him at Pier 84 but there was no real way for that to happen in a big event atmosphere like the River Rocks show. I know he found it somewhat distasteful already - the huge pit reserved for photographer access only and the ridiculously high stage, etc.,...
I forgot in what thread I posted it in. But he said that Geneva Jacuzzi taught him to say "prune" while taking a picture, because you can't make a bad face when saying that word. He really has that down. This is another picture I took of my friend and John on the same night. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-RUeF ... 1-E019.jpg
And the black and white was not on purpose. I wanted some color film but they only had low speed film, so I went with T-Max 400 instead. I really like how they turned out and might shoot more black and white in the future.
