Hey,
Only discovered John Maus today, he's brilliant. 'It Takes Time' is what got me in and have listened to it about 20 times since. Currently listening and enjoying 'Love is Real'.
Just wondering if anyone knows what equipment he uses to create his tracks?
couldn't spot a thread on the topic while looking through.
cheers.

Re: Equipment
I wonder if that was the gear he used for WMBTPCOO, which sounded "better" produced to me. The Tascam 488, although a great 8 track, still produces an analog signal path that is kind of noisy that doesn't come through on the album.

In an interview, he said he started rely more on software, against his better judgement.Deadserfs wrote:I wonder if that was the gear he used for WMBTPCOO, which sounded "better" produced to me. Hey Bruce, you are just like me. I never knew that a guy like him even existed until I accidentally bumped on this forum. But then guess what, I have totally fallen in love with his music. He is just too awesome.
