Very cool of him to invite people to chat on a Sunday afternoon. A lot was said about Mature Themes and he mentioned a future collaboration with Ariel (potentially years in the future). He didn't get to my questions, though. He kept asking if he missed anyone and I was sat in front of my laptop, waving my arms, going: "MEEEE!" but I don't think he heard that.

I think it's really quite sad he was so worried about seeming 'presumptuous' about people wanting to talk to him. I hope he knows he's got a very loyal bunch here who are always up for some friendly bullshitting about The Karate Kid, Adorno, Mozart, ice cream, or whatever else he might want to talk about. He doesn't have to be lonely.

Yeah, I read it, and John was really nice to answer all of the questions - my personal interpretation for some of them were more along the lines of the said person asking a silly question, not expecting an answer... then John would answer. eg. I remember seeing someone post about being out of their mind on drugs, and John replied to talk about various chemical compounds (memory is fuzzy - but something along those lines).... the person who asked the question was more than likely sat at home in their pants, whilst drinking soda.
