Updates on Mausman?

I had a dream that John announced a new album on Mausspace and it was up to us to market it
He posted the cover which was orange but toward the edge of the cover there was a gradient that became wires of orange, green and black
there was no title to it ...the title was up to us ala voting
then i woke up before any names came about! Ah i wish the dream came true!

Funny you mention a dream, because I also had a dream a few weeks ago about John's plans, but I only talked to LadyLazarus about it privately. In my (lucid) dream, I saw that John announced that he wanted to become a priest. When I woke up the dream resonated with me, both because John seems to be rather religious, but also because people with philosophy degrees only study 4 years instead of 8 to become Catholic priests.

chris tipton was kind enough to reply immediately

here is to most interesting part of the message he sent:

"John has spent some time in academia, finishing his phd etc. he has no present plans to tour, although I believe he is slowly working on some new music."

this does not sound too bad ; )

Thank you so much for the kind update and welcome to the forums, wurschtdruck! This must be relatively new information because I always pester Chris for Maus news when I go to the UtR shows in London (which is often!). He is great and usually always has time for a music chat. Last time I saw him, I bought him a shot.

This is fantastic news. Warmest congratulations to Dr Maus! Looking forward to hearing some new music, however long it takes.
