Some notable things from when i talked to John after a show!

So i did get to meet John after all after the show last Saturday!
Some notable things he mentioned:

We were talking about Flannery O'Connor's Wise Blood & my bf with me goes "wait, isn't that that musician?" talking about Weyes Blood, & John goes "yeahhh yeah, she's weird, isn't she like a witch or something? Yeah she took that name."

He was also talking to some other people about that one show that made a bit of news a long while back, I can't remember the exact details but i'm sure u guys know the one i'm talking about, John was talking with the crowd & lamenting being a part of it & saying ppl probably think he's some kinda nazi supporter now & all of us we're just going noooooo john no one thinks that it's ok.

I also told him I was reading his thesis at the moment & he went "ohhh don't do that, you don't gotta do that. It's outdated now, the message is all off" or something to that degree.

He was so so kind and sincere and was just talking with each of us, asking if we make music or have "shitty jobs" and just genuinely wanted to know more about us.

An absolutely amazing night.

Glad you had fun, the show is Million Dollar Extreme World Peace. The skit he appeared in is great, and attracted a lot of new fans like myself to John, so the subject always seems to come up when talking to fans after shows.
