I know that for Love Is Real and Pitiless Censors he used a Korg KR-55 drum machine. I'm not sure what he used on Screen Memories and Addendum but he mentioned in an interview that he was trying out live drums, so he's using a drum machine in combination with live drums. Or samples of live recorded drums.

Found a dump of vintage drum machine samples on reddit a couple years back, including samples from a Sequential DrumTraks. The Drumtraks kick and snare are the exact samples used on "Touchdown". The shaker and clap used in that song are definitely linndrum/linn lm1 samples. After his recent AMA, I wouldn't be surprised if he has the same sample dump.

I’ve heard a Roland TR-808 in quite a few of his songs. Songs like Maniac, ...And the Rain, pretty much every song with drums on Love Is Real, Mental Breakdown, 1987, and others. I don’t know if he had an actual 808 or just used samples, though.

How you know that?
I recognize that machine anywhere since I use one myself. It's funny how I posted this in 2018, got a reply in 2019 and now I'm replying in 2020. We take our time on this forum, don't we?
