Glad I don't have Facebook to make comments! This article may contain stuff a lot of people know by now, including theDrone interview and the Believer video, but it's on NPR, which is certainly cool!

Now that he's getting notice from the music press and having Pitchfork endorse him there is going to be a huge wave of backlash from people going on about the Emperor's New Clothes, how he's just copying Ariel Pink, how he's a novelty act enjoyed by ironic hipsters, etc etc

I think I'll probably make a concerted effort to basically avoid any stuff written about him from now on so that it doesn't drive me nuts

Also not a surprise that a bunch of people who appear to love exceedingly boring guitar rock aren't going to be into him

These Ian Curtis comparisons...just because he does the "baritone thing"? These comments...flexing of the brain...it's the newest event at the Olympics
