So awhile back I posted a video of me in my hometown Amarillo Texas performing an impersonation set of John. A few people in the youtube comments ripped me for doing it. Honestly I feel like John would enjoy some dumb kid in Amarillo doing an impersonation because A. he means a lot to me and B. nobody here has ever heard of him. It's weird because I feel like John is about pushing past that wall of insecurity and being brave enough to sing for the first time and go nuts. I know I'm not even 5% of what John can do live but it was honestly one of my favorite musical experiences doing it.
